Climbing
Have fun and adventure in a spectacular mountain setting on a frozen waterfall! Very safe and no experience is necessary.Meeting Location Times may vary. For ice climbing trips, we can provide transportation from our downtown location (kiosk on the corner of 5th & Lincoln, in front of Mahogany Ridge Restaurant), or climbers can follow in their own vehicles. Hours Trip Times: 8:30am to 12:00pm and 1pm to 4:30pm. Total trip time is approximately 3.5 hours.

Cross Country Skiing
Experience the most enjoyable and accessible wintertime recreation on 15 km of groomed trails at Steamboat Ski Touring Center or take a guided backcountry cross country tour on Rabbit Ears Pass or Blacktail Mountain. Equipment available by rental.

We give parents the confidence to know their kids are in good hands and having a great time. Whether your child has never seen snow or is a bump-skiing superstar, we can provide a positive and rewarding experience.

Kid's Adventure Club At Night
Kids Adventure Club offers a "Kids Night Out" for kids ages 5 years through 12 years (and young teens). Located in the Kid's Vacation Center, we offer a camp environment with supervision, snacks, games, movies, a variety of activities, and rest time. Reservations required by 4:30 p.m. of the requested date. Walk in guests accommodated on space available basis. Includes pizza/snacks.

Kids-Only Terrain & Lifts
Steamboat has five kids-only lifts and two special beginner teaching areas with dedicated Magic Carpet lifts. More advanced kids access the entire mountain, including kids-only terrain at Rough Rider Basin, complete with dedicated lift plus teepees, a frontier-style fort and the Beehive - a kids' terrain park.
